Eric, Founder
Eric Gonzalez Alfaro, a first-generation Mexican American and the son of former undocumented migrant farmworkers, is the founder of Offset, a principled wine shop grounded in environmental stewardship, labor rights, and ethical production.
He is a proud alumni of Washington State University's Viticulture Certification Program, and the Northwest Wine Academy Wine Production and Marketing Certification Programs (offered at South Seattle College).
Drawing on nearly two decades of senior leadership in public policy and advocacy, including roles at Earthjustice (formerly Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund), the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington, the Washington State Labor Council AFL-CIO, OneAmerica, and the Legal Foundation of Washington, Eric curates small-producer wines that reflect rigor, integrity, and respect for land, labor, and community.
