2024 Marto Crazy Crazy is made from organically farmed aromatic white varieties, with some skin contact, bottled unfined and unfiltered, and finished as a pét-nat/perlwein with no added sulfites.
It is a fizzy, lightly skinsy expression of Rheinhessen, opening up with aromas of lychee, pineapple, and guava, lifted by a grassy floral edge. On the palate, it is juicy and gently cloudy, with tropical fruit, tangy acidity, and a mineral finish that stays bright, wild, and just a little salty.
Pairing: Green curry with tofu, shrimp toast, a cold plate of melon and prosciutto.
