The Wine: Pouya’s 2021 Tinto is a strikingly elegant red from Valle de Guadalupe that proves intensity does not need to come from weight or extraction. Made from 100% Grenache, it shows a pale, light ruby color in the glass, then opens with aromas of black cherry, roses, and a subtle touch of leather. On the palate, it is bright and finely balanced, with vivid red fruit, taut acidity, rounded tannins, and a long finish.

What makes this bottle especially compelling is its combination of lift and depth. The fruit comes from old vines in Valle de Guadalupe farmed with organic care, harvested early to preserve freshness. The wine is made with a low-intervention approach, fermented with skins and seeds in French oak, then pressed and aged in barrel for 7 months. It is unfiltered and unstabilized, a method that keeps the wine vivid and expressive while allowing Grenache’s floral character and natural energy to stay fully intact.
