The Wine: Founded in 2008 by Sergio Salgado, Santos Brujos farms estate-grown fruit in organic and biodynamic certified vineyards in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe, on clay and sandy soils with quartz, and the Chardonnay is raised in a combination of French oak and stainless steel.
Santos Brujos’ 2021 Chardonnay is a striking expression of Valle de Guadalupe, combining richness, freshness, and mineral precision in a style that feels both polished and distinctive. It opens with expressive aromas of green apple, pineapple, and tangerine, lifted by floral notes and a subtle touch of spice. On the palate, it is elegant yet full of energy, with bright acidity, layered fruit, and a clean mineral finish.
